Connecting to Other Catalog Systems
Search Other Library Catalogs, including multiple libraries at once:
C/W Mars Evergreen Regional Search - Click here to search the collections of most public and select academic libraries in the C/W Mars system. The new Evergreen system includes connections to even more Massachusetts Libraries.
Commonwealth Catalog- The Commonwealth Catalog extends your search beyond the C/W MARS library network. Search through millions of items at participating libraries across Massachusetts. Requests will be delivered to your local library for pickup. Please search the C/W Mars online catalog first. If the material you want is not available, you can request it via the Commonwealth Catalog. The Commonwealth Catalog includes many library systems including the Fenway, Merrimack, Minuteman, Clams and MetroBoston Networks, as well as UMASS Dartmouth and Lowell, and Westfield and Bridgewater State.
MBLC Portal To Everything
Access to all resources that are made available by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. Your barcode on the back of your student ID is necessary to enter this portal.
United States and the World. Click here to search the collections of libraries all over the world with WorldCat. While you can not order books yourself, you can see where in the United States a book is held. If it is out of State, BCC students, staff and faculty may request that we order the book for you through InterLibrary Loan for free. Just submit the title and author of the book and publishing date, along with your BCC library card number, name and phone number to one of our staff members.
InterLibrary Loan Form - If you find a book or resource in WorldCat that is not located in Massachusetts, you can request that we obtain it for you through InterLibrary Loan. InterLibrary Loan forms are now available online. This service is only available to current BCC Students, faculty (including Emeritus) and Staff.
