Course Reserves for Students

Course Reserves are available for check out at the circulation desk; most items are in-library use only so please plan accordingly. Students requesting material from Course Reserves must currently be attending BCC and have a BCC ID card.

Course Reserves for Faculty

Faculty are encouraged to place materials on reserve for their students at any point in the semester, and may use personal copies or existing BCC Library materials.

The following will be needed to process material for Course Reserves:

  • Your name and library card number
  • Your BCC email address
  • Course code number and course name
  • The personal items you want to place on reserve and/or titles and call numbers of BCC items to be placed on reserve
  • The desired loan restrictions/periods for each item (i.e., In House, 3 Day, 7 Day, or 14 Day)

If you do not have an active BCC Library Card, we can register you for a card or update your current record.

Please plan for a forty-eight-hour turnaround for processing.
