Faculty Information Literacy & Resource Page: Remote Guide One

What We Can Do For You

The Jonathan Edwards Library wants you to know that we will help every way we can during your transition to remote learning.  In addition to the resources provided on these pages, we can create a LibGuide page of resources tailored to your classes that is accessible outside of Moodle.  (An example is this page created for Fire Science). We also provide one-on-one Zoom sessions by appointment.

How To Access Online Resources With An ID Card - Can Be Shared

We moved to the HELM network from CW/Mars on June 1st and updated our login procedures on July 7.  The new log in is displayed heret.

We are now using a One Login System for database access and My BCC.  Students, Faculty and Staff can now login using the SAME username and password you use to get into the My BCC system.  Students will be able to use their Student ID number and the password they normally use, while Faculty and Staff will use the same Username and Password they use when they normally login to MY BCC.

Getting a BCC ID Card at the Library.

Once the Library is physically open again, we will resume making BCC ID Cards.   Bring in a form of ID with you to get a card.  Your ID Card has the Library Barcode printed on the back, which will let you check out books, use student reserves, place a Hold on a book from another HELM Library, etc.  Here is an illustration of the backside of an ID card.  Faculty and Staff IDs may have a new feature attached to their cards that will allow keyless access into some buildings.
